Perry County Jail Information and Inmate Search
The Perry County Detention Center opened in June, 2014. It is located behind the county courthouse and has 136 beds. The staff is overseen by Jail Commander Ron Gibson and includes Jail Matron Jayne Glenn, Jail Corporal Daymion Marsh, and Jail Sergeants Zach Taylor and Matt Zabel.

How to Send Mail or Package
Personal mail to inmates must not include unauthorized items or attachments, including: glue, tape, stickers, lipstick, glitter, staples, paperclips, post-it notes, paint, crayon or colored ink drawings, perfume, cologne, or other such fragrances, stamps, blank paper, cardboard, card stock, or envelopes. Correspondence must include the full name and return address of the sender. Names may not be written as “Mom and Dad” or “The Smiths.” Mail should be addressed in the following format:

Newspapers, magazines, books or other periodicals must be shipped directly from the publisher or book stores such as Barnes and Noble.
Money may be added to inmates’ commissary accounts in person, by mail, or online. There is a Stellar system kiosk located in the Perry County Detention Center lobby. The kiosk charges a $2.00 fee. Money orders may be sent via mail. Funds may also be added online at JailATM’s website.
