Dearborn County Jail Information and Inmate Search
The Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center was built between 1990 and 199. It is a 200+ bed facility that also houses the sheriff’s department. Jon Winkler is the Jail Commander and Rod McGownd is the Assistant Jail Commander. The staff also includes Sergeants David Howe, Robin Hinds, Jennifer Mcaninch, and Christian Stroud.

The jail’s inmate roster may be searched using the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office Mobile app, available for Apple and Android devices. It may also be searched online at VineLink, which provides inmates’ dates of birth, demographic and description information, booking, bond, and charge details, arresting agency and locations, and mugshots, when available.

Money may be added to inmates’ commissary accounts, or commissary may be purchased directly, online at DDVending. An account is necessary and items must be paid for with a credit card (prepaid cards and debit cards are NOT accepted). The profile name and address on the account must match the mailing address used for the credit card. To add money to an inmate’s account, click “Purchase Gift Voucher” and follow the instructions on the site. You must review the terms and conditions on the second page and check the box or the transaction will not complete.To purchase commissary items, go to the “Store” tab and make your selections. Once added to your “Cart,” go to “Checkout” and complete the credit card information. To find the inmate’s name, type the first 3 letters of the first name and click on “search inmate”. From the selections, select the inmate by clicking the radio button to the left of the name. On the left side, select deliver to inmate. There is no additional charge for shipping products to the jail.
