The Chain O’Lakes Reentry Center opened in Indiana in 1967. The Indiana Department of Corrections (DOC) runs the Chain O’Lakes Correctional Facility. The facility offers educational and treatment programs to help offenders reenter society. The facility also has work crews that work throughout northeast Indiana.

Visitation Hours:

Inmates are permitted two evening visits per week, which can take place after 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekends.

Cell phones are not permitted in the visiting area, and every visitor is subject to being searched before their visit. Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Visitors will be asked about health symptoms and may not be eligible to visit if suspected of having a contagious disease. All visitors must present a valid, government issued ID in order to visit an inmate.

Deposits: To send money online using a credit card, users can create an account on https://web.connectnetwork.com/, and can look up the inmate they would like to send money to. Deposits can be made over the phone and users must provide the appropriate account number, facility, inmate, and payment information. The kiosk in the visitation lobby of the facility can be used to make deposits using cash, credit, or debit card.

Corrections Dept Offender Search

Inmate searches are conducted by name or DOC number, and provide biographical information like the inmate’s date of birth, gender, and race. The webpage also displays the facility the inmate is housed in and their earliest release date. The inmate’s charges, term length and county of conviction are given under the sentence information section of their profile.
