Henry County Jail Information and Inmate Search

The Henry County Jail is a 130-bed facility in New Castle, Indiana. It is operated by the local Sheriff’s Office. The jail has several inmate programs, including General Education Development (GED) and treatment programs. Stacey Guffey is the Jail Commander and the Assistant Jail Commander is Dan Martin. In addition to the county jail, there is a Henry County Jail Annex that houses male and female work release inmates.

Money orders made payable to the inmate may be mailed to the Henry County Jail or Jail Annex. Certified checks, cashiers checks, and government checks are also accepted.

Visitation Hours

All visits are non-contact and electronic. Visits are approximately 30-minutes. Inmates may have up to 4 visitors per visitation day. Visitors must arrive and sign in on the visitors list at least 10 minutes before their scheduled visitation. The schedule is determined by housing assignment. It is as follows:

Tuesdays:
8am to 12pm: E & F Block
12:30pm to 7:30pm: A & B Block

Thursday
8am to 1:30pm: C & D Block
8am to 10am: G Block
8am to 3pm: I Block
10:30am to 1:30pm H Block
4pm to 7:30pm: E & F Block

Saturday
8am to 2pm: A & B Block
2:30pm to 4:30pm: G Block
2:30pm to 8pm: C, D & I Block
