Clark County Jail Information and Inmate Search

Michael L. Becher Adult Correctional Complex is located in Jeffersonville, Indiana. It has a rated capacity of 700 beds. The jail has extensive programming for inmates, including art therapy, lectures, therapy and mindfulness workshops, and a wide variety of classes and groups. Lt. Col Anthony Mills is the main contact for the jail.

The jail roster may be searched online at VineLink. Available information includes inmate’s demographic details, booking, bond, and charge information, arresting agency and location, and mugshot, when available.

How to Send Mail or Package

Personal mail sent to inmates must have a full return address, be no larger than 8.5×11” and no thicker than light card stock that can be fed through a scanner. The following are not accepted: address labels or other stickers, homemade or musical cards, non-white envelopes or paper, paints or drawings in colored ink, marker, crayon, or glitter. White out or other liquid substances are not allowed to be used on inmate mail. Photographs are permitted, but print outs from the internet are not. Mail should be addressed as follows:

Funds may be added to inmates’ accounts through kiosks in the jail lobby or online. The kiosk is available from 8:30am-7pm Monday through Friday and charges a $2.95 transaction fee. There is a 5% service fee if using a credit or debit card. Funds may also be added through CorrectPay’s website. Money orders may be mailed to inmates, provided the sender’s information is filled out.

Visitation Hours

All inmate visits are conducted by video and may be scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 7pm and Saturday through Sunday from 9am to noon. Visits may be scheduled online at InmateSales or by calling 866-340-7879. Visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance and visitors must have a valid State ID.

Onsite visits may be held bi-weekly and last a minimum of 15 minutes. Offsite visits may be purchased through InmateSales, last at least 15 minutes, and are unlimited in frequency.

Clark County Public Records Information

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office hosts an online CCSO Request for Public Records portal. To request records, the requestor’s name and contact information is required. A detailed description of the records is also requested and should include information such as the date, time or location of the incident, a case or inmate number, the name and contact information of anyone involved, and any other information that will aid in location of the record.

The Indiana Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) also mandates that the public can request records from any government agency in writing. The requests should include similar information to that described above and may be submitted in person or by mail, email, or fax. FOIA requests incur a copy fee of $.10 per page.
