Fulton County Jail Information and Inmate Search
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Jail Division employs 17 full-time officers. The Jail Commander is Catherine L. Collins and the Assistant Jail Commander is Marty Lee Ehlinger. The current facility was opened in 2021. It has a rated capacity of 200 beds separated into different blocks. All persons arrested in Fulton County are brought to the Detention Center. Most inmates are short-term, but some are housed from arrest through sentencing and afterwards due to limited bed space at the Indiana Department of Correction. The average daily population ranges from 100 to110.

Fulton County Sheriff’s Department currently has a webpage for their inmate roster, but no information is available. Rosters are periodically posted and can be found through the website’s Document Center page. The rosters of Indiana jails may also be searched through VineLink by an inmate’s name or ID number. Information includes demographic and identifying details about the inmate, booking, bond, and charge information, arresting agency and location, and mugshots, when available.
How to Send Mail or Package
All personal mail to inmates must be sent using the US Postal Service and contain the sender’s name and return address. Mail may not contain stickers, colored drawings or paintings, or glitter. No packages may be sent without prior written consent from the Jail Commander and all packages need to be under $1.50 in postage. Packages’ contents and the sender must be disclosed.Books and/or magazines may be sent directly from the respective publisher once consent is given by the Jail Commander. Items will not be accepted through the lobby unless the Jail Commander has given prior written approval.
Money can be added to inmates’ trust funds by sending money orders through the mail or depositing into the money deposit machine in the jail lobby. Funds can also be added to inmate accounts electronically by visiting www.jailatm.com
